Gym, internet and reset

control philosophy self

I was writing this between the sets in the gym.

Raw thinking about the overconsumption of the internet.

You consume.

And you start to feel numb.

Inner pressure.

Same with any other bad habit.

Same with content.

Same with news.

You need nothing.

You need boredome.

Just stop everything.

Be with people.

Be alone.

Be in reality.

The best feeling in the world is when you have tasks. You complete your task. Then, you have freedome to do other things - good things, like read, talk to loved ones. But too often you consume waste, online waste. Things that are not important and that do not contribute to your life.

And no amount of blockers will save you.

No amount of will will save you.

You can not controle it.

You have to remove yourself from the space.

There is no other way.

The space is what dictates who you are.

Most habits are connected with where you are at that moment.

So you must reset. And the resets are: boredome, training, and talking to people. While doing this, you must be 100% in that. Nothing else can be present.

You must think about what you are doing.

Not about what you are not doing.

You must make decisions, and act uppon them immidiately.

If there is space, bad habits will come through.

Because we always seek shortcuts.

Slow down. Think. Do not act.

What are you trying to do? What are you trying to achieve? Is there a way to do it without going online? Is there a way to do it without just being served the answer? Can you figure it out on your own?

Maybe you dont even need the answer. Maybe you just need to stop looking for answers all the time. Maybe the answer is in the effort you put in. And maybe going online and just getting it, kills some of your ability to control yourself.

Everything online is made to give you answers. Social media. And other news. Everyone pretends they have answers. Nothing stays. Because you did not come to them on your own. The way it comes is the way it goes. You did not find it, so you do not keep it.

The speed in which you come to an answers is proportionate to the time it takes take to forget it.

Do less to be able to do more. Stop.

Before doing anything. Take 5min away from pc, make a plan, draw if you need. Slow down for a moment and think.
